Job summary

Tek Systems is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join a technology-driven organization building a modern cloud-native platform. You will design, build, and scale infrastructure, automation, and platform services in collaboration with software, product, and security teams.

You'll focus on cloud-native technologies, IaC, CI/CD, and observability, enabling engineering teams to move faster with reliability. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement and strong work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Infrastructure Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• Strong experience with public cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or similar tools.
• Experience with tools such as GitHub, CircleCI, Artifactory, SonarQube, Spinnaker, Ansible, or Chef.
• Knowledge of observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Elastic Stack.
• Strong Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across multiple engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and platform services.
• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and engineering productivity.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and drive automation across the platform.
• Manage and optimize cloud environments for reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Support containerized platforms and Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Enhance observability through monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance management tooling.
• Work closely with engineering teams to improve platform standards, developer experience, and operational excellence.
• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve platform resilience and reliability.
