Job summary

NCS is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer (Team Lead) to design, implement, and lead hybrid infrastructure across AWS and on-premise systems. This role guides a distributed team and drives automation, modernization, and cross-functional collaboration with Endpoint Management, Network Operations, and Security.

The position emphasizes governance, scalability, and security with Windows AD/Azure AD, VMware ESXi, Nutanix, Hitachi, and Terraform/Ansible.

Qualifications

5–8 years of hybrid infrastructure management experience.
At least 3 years designing/deploying/mgmt of AWS services.
Proven track record leading an operations team in a complex enterprise.
Experience collaborating with network, endpoint, and security teams.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a distributed team of 20–30 engineers.
Develop and track annual improvement plans based on metrics and tech advances.
Foster a collaborative engineering culture focused on ownership and continuous improvement.
Provide strategic input to senior management on service optimization and cost control.
Collaborate with Endpoint Management, Network Ops, Cloud Security, and Applications teams to design end-to-end infra solutions.
Participate in cross-domain projects such as device lifecycle management and hybrid cloud deployment.
Contribute to automation and orchestration using Terraform, Ansible, or PowerShell.
Serve as technical escalation point for complex issues spanning domains.
