Job summary

A regional IT services provider in Hong Kong is looking for a Solution Architect. The successful candidate will develop technical solutions in Public and Hybrid Cloud, oversee project implementations, and manage multiple stakeholders. Ideal candidates should have at least 7 years of experience in Cloud Architecture and be certified in major platforms like AWS or Azure. Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with Containerization tools like Kubernetes are essential for this role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing technical solutions in Public and Hybrid Cloud for end customers
• Take part in project implementation in the capacity of Solution Architect to formulate detailed technical architecture design; as well as to oversee the project implementation from technical architecture point of view
• Manage multiple stakeholders internally and externally with different priorities and expectations
• Work on new technology with little prior experience
• As primary implementer of Cloud related project in the region
• Work with other technical towers with the view of smooth project completion
• Acquire new technology and knowledge that can help the company and the team growth, and share within the team

Job Requirements

• Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 7 years relevant work experience in Public Cloud / Hybrid Cloud Architecture Design and Implementation
• Strong technical experience in on-premise to Cloud migration
• Strong technical experience in designing Cloud Native Architecture
• Certified Solution Architect in AWS / Azure / GCP / AliCloud
• Knowledge on Cloud Native Architecture
• Experience in Agile, Scrum and DevOps methodologies
• Experience in Containerization, Automation and Orchestration using tools such as Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins…etc
• Sound knowledge across multiple IT technology domains
• Diploma or Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 3 -5 years relevant work experience in Cloud project implementation and /or Managed Services
• Strong technical experience on Cloud Native deployment and migration
• Strong experience in coordinate and communicate effectively with other technologists in the view of project completion
• Strong technical experience in major public cloud solution deployment (AWS, Azure and GCP)
• Hands on experience in Infrastructure as Code / Configuration Management implementation using Terraform, CloudFormation or etc
• Experience and comfortable in Linux based system
• Experience in Containerization, Automation and Orchestration using tools such as Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins or etc
