Job summary

Michael Page International (HK) Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented onboarding assistant to support account-opening processes in a demanding financial services environment. You will review documentation, perform data-entry, and help ensure compliance with KYC/SOW requirements, in English and Chinese.

The role offers the chance to develop in a large, established investment banking setting, collaborating with multiple teams and maintaining accurate records to meet deadlines and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent education and/or relevant work experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in banking, financial services, or operations support.
• Experience in prior exposure to KYC or SOW is an advantage.
• Ability to work in Chinese and English (reading and communication).
• Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple teams.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing and organizing account opening documentation submitted.
• Support basic document checks to identify missing information or inconsistencies and follow up with relevant parties as instructed.
• Perform accurate data entry of client information into internal onboarding systems and workflows.
• Assist in filing and maintaining account documentation in accordance with internal record‑keeping standards.
• Help track outstanding documentation and support follow‑up prior to required deadlines.
• Support post‑account opening administrative follow‑ups and expiry monitoring.
• Provide general onboarding administrative support, including document scanning, data checking, form updates, system maintenance, and basic reporting.
