Job summary

Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a detail‑oriented onboarding assistant to support account opening processes in a fast-paced financial services environment in Hong Kong.

You will review documentation, perform basic checks, enter client data, maintain records, and track outstanding items to ensure deadlines are met, collaborating with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent education and/or relevant work experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in banking, financial services, or operations support.
• Experience in prior exposure to KYC or SOW is an advantage.
• Ability to work in Chinese and English (reading and communication).
• Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple teams.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing and organizing account opening documentation submitted
• Support basic document checks to identify missing information or inconsistencies and follow up with relevant parties as instructed
• Perform accurate data entry of client information into internal onboarding systems and workflows
• Assist in filing and maintaining account documentation in accordance with internal record‑keeping standards
• Help track outstanding documentation and support follow‑up prior to required deadlines
• Support post‑account opening administrative follow‑ups and expiry monitoring
• Provide general onboarding administrative support, including document scanning, data checking, form updates, system maintenance, and basic reporting
