Job summary

MatraVolt Limited is seeking a Chief Technology Officer to architect R&D programs for CNT-based films and electrodes, directing R2R coating strategies and process optimization. The role requires hands-on expertise in magnetron sputtering and electroplating, and leadership of a cross-functional team to deliver techno-economic results.

The candidate should hold a Master’s in a hard-tech field and be proficient in English and Chinese to collaborate with global partners.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on R2R coating experience (magnetron sputtering, electroplating).
• Leadership of senior R&D teams and technology transfer to production.
• Strong RCA and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience with carbon nanotubes, nanomaterials, or related films.
• Fluent English and Chinese; capable of engaging global partners.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage R&D timelines for CNT-based films and electrodes.
• Align R&D team milestones and ensure project delivery on schedule.
• Direct core R2R processes and optimize key steps.
• Lead equipment selection, FAT/SAT, and process retrofits.
• Maintain SOPs, specifications, and FA reports; protect knowledge base.
