Job summary

MatraVolt Limited, a Hong Kong-based spin-out from PolyU, is advancing next-generation battery materials and energy infrastructure. We are seeking a results-driven engineer to support setup, operation, and continuous improvement of production equipment.

You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure equipment availability and readiness, contribute to safety and efficiency projects, and assist with troubleshooting, documentation, and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering, materials, science, or a related technical discipline.
• Significant hands-on experience in large-scale power lithium-ion battery manufacturing.
• Experience with equipment, engineering, manufacturing, or technical operations.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a production environment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the setup, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of equipment and related production systems.
• Work with internal teams to ensure equipment availability, reliability, and general operational readiness.
• Assist with equipment troubleshooting, documentation, vendor coordination, and routine technical follow-up.
• Participate in improvement projects related to production efficiency, safety, and equipment performance.
• Support compliance with company procedures, safety requirements, and general engineering standards.
