Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking an experienced transformation leader to serve as Chief Product Owner for a multi-year FSS Operations Transformation Programme within Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Operations. This role defines the Target Operating Model across process, technology, data and organisation, and leads a team of Product Owners across Custody, Funds Services and Transfers.

Qualifications

15+ years in banking and transformation roles.
Experience in Financing & Securities Services (FSS) such as Custody, Settlements, Corporate Actions, Funds Services.
Strong Agile delivery and Product Owner capabilities.
Ability to build relationships with Product Owners, Analysts, Designers and Tech squads.
Proven leadership and governance capabilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Define and communicate the FSS Ops product vision, strategy and integrated roadmap.
Own capabilities throughout their lifecycle from design to delivery and benefits.
Lead Product Owners and ensure clear accountability across squads.
Translate strategy into epics, features and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Drive end-to-end process, data and technology transformation initiatives.
Govern and manage risks, ensure operational readiness and value realisation.
Partner with executives to shape investment cases and benefits.
Develop a high-performing product community and ensure talent development.
