Job summary

Bank of Communications Co., Ltd. Hong Kong Branch is seeking an experienced credit professional to evaluate SME credit applications and approve loans within delegated authority.

You will monitor portfolio quality through regular credit reviews and contribute to sound risk decisions in a dynamic banking environment. The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of credit-approval experience focused on SME, commercial and corporate banking, a relevant degree, and strong English and Chinese language

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of credit approval experience with SME/commercial banking focus.
• Bachelor degree or above in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Risk Management (HKQF level 5).
• Strong English and Chinese language skills; Putonghua is an advantage.

Job description

• Approve loan applications independently within delegated authority.
• Monitor portfolio quality by conducting regular credit reviews
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in credit approval, with substantial focus on SME, commercial and corporate banking within banking industry
• Degree holder or above in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Risk Management or equivalent qualifications at HKQF level 5
• Self-motivated, good team player and able to follow tight deadlines
• Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English. Putonghua is an advantage
• Candidates with less experience will also be considered

The above post requires proficiency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
