Job summary

Long Jing Technology Limited is seeking a Certification and Lab Test Engineer to join our Technical Consultancy & Lab Test team in Fo Tan, Sha Tin District. You will ensure clients pass ISO audits and regulatory requirements while maintaining high QA standards and supporting lab testing activities.

You will prepare technical documentation, manage certification lifecycles, and liaise with certifying bodies. A 2–3 year background in QA/lab testing and strong writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 2–3 years of experience in QA, laboratory testing or certification.
• Strong knowledge of ISO, CE marking, FDA.
• Experience with laboratory testing equipment and analytical methodologies.
• Familiarity with certification bodies and regulatory compliance processes.
• Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive laboratory testing and analysis to verify compliance with international standards and certification requirements.
• Prepare and submit technical documentation, test reports and certification applications to regulatory bodies and third-party certifiers.
• Manage the certification lifecycle, liaising with certifying bodies and addressing non-conformances.
• Develop and maintain testing protocols, SOPs and QA documentation.
• Perform quality control inspections and testing on manufacturing processes and finished products.
• Maintain detailed records of test results, certifications and quality metrics for traceability and compliance.
• Stay current with industry standards, regulations and certification requirements.
• Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing staff on quality and certification matters.

About the role

Long Jing Technology Limited is seeking a Certification and Lab Test Engineer to join our Technical Consultancy & Lab Test team on a full-time basis. This role is based in Fo Tan, Sha Tin District and represents a critical position within our Certification and Testing operations. As Certification and Lab Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring our clients pass ISO audit certifications, standards, and regulatory compliance whilst maintaining the highest quality assurance standards. This role is integral to our commitment to delivering trainings, audit assistance to our customers and plays a key strategic role in supporting our Lab Testing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive laboratory testing and analysis of products to verify compliance with international standards and certification requirements
• Prepare and submit technical documentation, test reports and certification applications to relevant regulatory bodies and third-party certification organizations
• Manage the certification lifecycle, including liaising with certifying bodies, addressing non-conformances and implementing corrective actions
• Develop and maintain testing protocols, standard operating procedures and quality assurance documentation
• Perform quality control inspections and testing on manufacturing processes and finished products
• Maintain detailed records of all test results, certifications and quality metrics for traceability and compliance purposes
• Stay current with relevant industry standards, regulations and certification requirements
• Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing staff on quality and certification matters

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Lab Testing and Certification, Quality Assurance or a related technical discipline
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in quality assurance, laboratory testing or certification roles, preferably within manufacturing or electronics industries
• Strong knowledge of international quality and safety standards (ISO, CE marking, FDA)
• Demonstrated experience with laboratory testing equipment and analytical methodologies
• Familiarity with certification bodies and regulatory compliance processes
• Excellent technical writing and documentation skills, with the ability to prepare clear and accurate test reports
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to work effectively across multiple departments
• Professional certification such as ISO/IEC 17025 or equivalent quality assurance qualification is advantageous
