Job summary

TÜV Rheinland Group in Hong Kong is seeking a capable chemist to perform standard and specialized analyses in our testing laboratory. You will install, operate, and maintain equipment, record results, and ensure samples are disposed of properly.

Requires Higher Diploma or above in Science or Chemistry, at least 3 years in a testing lab, and strong communication in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. We offer double pay, comprehensive benefits, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in Science / Chemistry or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years in a testing laboratory; less experience may be considered for Assistant Test Chemist.
• Good communication skills in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.

Responsibilities

• Performs standard and non-standard chemical, mechanical and/or electrical analyses or tests in a laboratory.
• Records results in lab reports and evaluates results when applicable.
• Installs, operates and maintains laboratory test equipment.
• Might calibrate and repair test equipment.
• Takes care of sample disposal and sample return.
• Other duties as assigned.
