Job summary

Leadingnation is seeking an Assistant Safety & Facilities Manager for the Finance Office - Campus Management Section. The role ensures campus safety, asset protection, policy development, and regulatory compliance across the site.

You will coordinate with internal and external parties, lead safety trainings, and supervise safety improvement works. The position requires a degree in Safety/OSH/FM and 5–6 years of post-registration experience in safety and environmental protection within facilities

Qualifications

• Degree in Safety Management, Occupational Safety & Health or Facilities Management.
• OSH qualifications eligible for registration are considered.
• Familiarity with ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective risk management, safety and security of the campus for staff, students, visitors and contractors.
• Protect college assets from theft, fire and other risks with robust controls.
• Oversee all site safety matters and prepare policies and procedures for compliance.
• Carry out on-site inspections and ensure regulatory obligations are met.
• Maintain Occupational Safety and Health Management Policy in line with regulations.
• Assist in running the security safety function and related activities.
• Patrol campus regularly and deter safety violations.
• Coordinate with internal and external parties on health and safety compliance and audits.
• Implement health and safety awareness, training for staff and outsourced workers.
• Respond to emergencies and provide necessary assistance.
• Organise Safety Management Committee meetings and document records.
• Provide administrative support and assist in tender/procurement related to safety.
• Supervise safety improvements by FM service providers and contractors.
• Maintain inventory of fixed assets and safety items through stock takes.
• Attend emergency calls and perform duties including weekends when needed.
