Job summary

Asia Pacific Securities Limited in Wan Chai, Hong Kong is seeking a qualified accountant to manage the full set of accounting duties, tax filings, and financial statements. The role requires independence to close monthly and yearly accounts, and to support budgeting, cost analyses, and audits.

The office offers a sea-view working environment with weekends off, standard hours from 9:00 to 18:00, and no overtime.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in full-set corporate accounting.
• Immediate availability preferred.
• Mainland financial background preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Review daily vouchers and perform bookkeeping and account recording.
• Independently complete monthly and annual closing, and prepare financial statements (balance sheet and P&L).
• Handle bank and cash reconciliation and intercompany/current account calculations; clear discrepancies.
• Complete calculation, filing and payment of various taxes on time, and manage invoices.
• Assist in preparing the annual budget, track execution, analyse variances and suggest cost reductions.
• Conduct regular financial data analysis, prepare reports, support management decisions.
• Improve internal controls and coordinate with audits.

Job Overview
Responsible for the company's full set of accounting, tax filing, financial statement preparation, and daily financial management. We offer weekends off, working hours from 9:00 to 18:00, and no overtime. Benefits include medical insurance and year-end bonus. The office is located in the core area of Wan Chai with a comfortable sea-view working environment. This position requires the ability to independently handle the full set of accounting work. Candidates with Mainland financial background are preferred. Practitioners with relevant hands-on experience are welcome to join.

Key Responsibilities

• Review daily vouchers, perform bookkeeping and account recording to ensure financial data is accurate and timely


• Independently complete monthly and annual closing, and prepare financial statements such as balance sheet and profit & loss statement


• Handle bank and cash reconciliation as well as intercompany/current account calculations, and regularly clear discrepancies


• Complete calculation, filing and payment of various taxes on time, and manage invoice issuance and verification


• Assist in preparing the annual budget, track execution progress, analyse variances, and provide cost-reduction suggestions


• Conduct regular financial data analysis, prepare analysis reports, and support management decision-making


• Optimise financial processes and internal controls, and coordinate with internal and external audits

Requirements

• 3years of experience in full-set corporate accounting, with the ability to independently complete monthly and annual closing and financial statement preparation


• Candidates with Mainland financial working background preferred


• Familiar with tax filing, cost control or budget analysis; experience in tax optimisation is an advantage


• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines


• Detail-oriented, strong sense of responsibility, and able to independently handle full-set financial work
