Leadingnation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a key account-focused initiative within Commercial Banking. The role requires hands-on delivery, senior stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration across contact centres and branches.

Ideal candidate brings 8+ years of banking experience, strong project governance capability, and fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin). This is a high‑visibility transformation effort within a well‑resourced institution.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent qualification.
• 8+ years banking experience, with exposure to business banking operations.
• Experience managing medium-to-large scale projects is a strong plus.
• Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders and lay out options clearly.
• Comfortable working across ambiguity, in an agile environment, with a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
• Ownership and a service-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management and consultancy support across system implementation, process workflow design, and process re-engineering initiatives.
• Partner with business, operations, IT, audit, legal and compliance teams to ensure robust project governance.
• Support prioritization across multiple concurrent projects, helping optimize budget, resourcing and sequencing.
• Lead change-impact and adoption assessments to ensure the business is ready post-implementation.
• Identify risks, issues and dependencies early, and recommend mitigations.
• Actively track scope, schedule and budget to keep delivery on track.
• Stay current on industry best practice and technology trends, applying these to drive efficiency and cost improvements.
• Build and motivate a high-performing project team focused on quality delivery.
