Job summary

Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Business Consultant to support a vendor-developed Life Agency POS platform (iBuy) used by agency distribution channels. You will liaise between business users, IT teams, and external vendors, gathering and documenting requirements across Life Insurance functions and translating them for IT development teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Insurance, or related disciplines.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Consultant, Project Manager, or similar role.
• Strong experience managing and documenting business and IT requirements.
• Proven ability to work with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors.
• Experience in project delivery across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Exposure to AI, Generative AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between Business users, IT teams, and external vendors for the Life Agency POS tool (iBuy).
• Gather, analyze, document, and manage business requirements from stakeholders across Life Insurance business functions.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for IT development teams and vendors.
• Facilitate discussions and workshops with business and technology stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and solutions.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams and vendor resources throughout the project lifecycle, from requirement gathering to implementation.
• Perform impact assessments, gap analysis, and solution evaluations to support business initiatives.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and production rollout activities.
• Ensure solutions comply with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and operational needs.
