Business Management Director, Private Banking
Support private banking growth through business management, governance, operational oversight and strategic initiatives.

Description
- Act as a trusted business partner to senior management and frontline teams, supporting the execution of business strategy, operational initiatives, and business growth objectives.
- Oversee business governance and control processes, ensuring adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and operational risk frameworks.
- Partner closely with stakeholders across Front Office, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and KYC functions to facilitate efficient onboarding, periodic reviews, and resolution of operational matters.
- Monitor and coordinate client lifecycle management activities, ensuring regulatory reviews, documentation requirements, and control processes are completed in a timely manner.
- Manage business reporting, tracking mechanisms, and management information to support governance, risk oversight, and business performance monitoring.
- Investigate operational issues, drive resolution of escalations, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective issue closure.
- Support and participate in strategic initiatives, process improvement projects, system enhancements, user acceptance testing (UAT), and change management activities.
- Maintain oversight of governance-related activities, approvals, and audit trails to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory expectations.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance controls, and improve overall operational efficiency within the private banking business.
Profile
- Degree holder in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of experience within Private Banking, Wealth Management, Business Management, Platform Management, or Front Office Support functions.
- Strong understanding of private banking operations, client onboarding, KYC/AML processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of wealth management products including fixed income, equities, foreign exchange, mutual funds, structured products, and alternative investments.
- Proven ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across business, risk, compliance, and operations functions.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional qualifications such as ECF-PWM, CFA, FRM, or relevant industry certifications would be advantageous.
