Job summary

Leadingnation is seeking a Compliance Specialist for Private Banking and Wealth Management in Hong Kong. The role focuses on reviewing policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting audit processes with robust transaction sampling.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in banking, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English and Chinese. Proficiency in MS Office and effective time management are essential for handling multiple duties and large datasets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in Economics, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in banking, ideally Private Banking/Wealth Mgmt.
• Strong analytical ability and time management.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin) written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Review and revise policies related to Private Banking and Wealth Management and implement updates for regulatory compliance and best practices.
• Oversee compliance supervision and transaction sampling for Private Banking and Wealth Management to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Liaise between the organization and auditors, for internal and external audits and regulatory compliance.
• Organize and conduct training sessions to educate staff about compliance requirements and ethical standards.
• Execute ad hoc projects as directed by the department head.

• Responsible for reviewing and revising policies related to Private Banking and Wealth Management andimplementing necessary updates to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices
• Compliance supervision and transaction sampling for Private Banking and Wealth Management businesses whichincludes monitoring and ensuring that the operations in Private Banking and Wealth Management adhere to legal and regulatory standards
• To liaise between the organization and auditors, whether they are conducting internal audits to ensure adherence to internal policies or external audits for regulatory compliance
• To organizing and conducting training sessions designed to educate staff about compliance requirements, policies, and ethical standards
• Ad hoc Projects to execute and designed by department head

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or above, major in Economics, Finance or related disciplines
• A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in banking industry, ideally in Private Banking or Wealth Management Department
• Strong analytical skills, able to prioritize multi-tasking and time management
• Fluent in spoken and written English & Chinese (including Mandarin)
• Strong skills in office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
