Job summary

Ambition is seeking a Business Analyst to drive Cards/ Credit Card initiatives within banking. You will gather and document requirements, analyze processes, and collaborate with Business, Operations, Technology, and external vendors to deliver cards-related projects.

You will support SIT/UAT, manage risks, and help implement regulatory changes while coordinating with regional and local stakeholders. Fluency in Cantonese and English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of Business Analyst experience in banking.
• Experience with Credit Card, Card Issuing, Card Management, Merchant Acquiring, or Cards projects.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and system requirements for Cards-related initiatives.
• Work with Business, Operations, Technology, and external vendors to deliver credit card and card issuing projects.
• Conduct business process analysis, gap analysis, and impact assessments.
• Prepare BRD, FRD, user stories, process flows, and test scenarios.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions.
• Support SIT, UAT, defect management, and production deployment activities.
• Track progress, manage risks and issues, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with regional and local stakeholders for project implementation.
• Provide ongoing support for system enhancements, regulatory changes, and business transformations in Cards.

• Facilitate stakeholder discussions, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions.
• Support SIT, UAT, defect management, and production deployment activities.
• Track project progress, manage risks and issues, and ensure deliverables are completed according to agreed timelines.
• Collaborate with regional and local stakeholders to drive successful project implementation.
• Provide ongoing support for system enhancements, regulatory changes, and business transformation initiatives within the Cards business.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of Business Analyst experience within the banking industry.
• Hands-on experience in Credit Card, Card Issuing, Card Management, Merchant Acquiring, or Cards-related projects.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and stakeholder management.
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, and end-to-end project delivery.
• Fluent Cantonese and English are mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• Retail Banking or Consumer Banking experience.
• Exposure to card migration, card platform implementation, or card lifecycle management projects.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, Visio, SQL, or similar BA tools.
• Previous experience working with regional stakeholders and third-party vendors.
