Job summary

Recruit Squad Limited in Hong Kong seeks a seasoned Business Analyst for a Financial Institution. You will translate high-level business needs into precise requirements and help design solutions for asset servicing.

The role requires at least 4 years in business analysis within financial services, experience with Waterfall or hybrid delivery, Jira familiarity, and strong English/Cantonese/Mandarin communication.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of BA or solution delivery experience in financial services.
• Experience with end-to-end solution lifecycles using Waterfall or hybrid.
• Familiarity with PM tools (e.g., Jira) is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
• PM certifications (PMP, PRINCE2) are advantageous.
• Strong understanding of structured business analysis techniques and SDLC.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin.

• Translate high-level business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
• Develop user stories, process flows and use cases to support solution design.
• Support the design of solutions that align with business requirements.
• Analyse, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate documentation of requirements, design decisions, and delivery artifacts in the project repository.
• Collaborate with vendors, IT, testing, business stakeholders and project management teams to ensure solutions are built according to specifications.
• Partner with the Testing Team to ensure test cases and scenarios accurately reflect business requirements.
• Build strong working relationships with internal business stakeholders, IT, support functions and vendors.
• Provide clear and concise communication of project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of experience in Business Analysis or Solution Delivery within the financial services or banking industries, with proven experience in Asset Servicing.
• Proven experience in managing end-to-end solution delivery lifecycles using Waterfall or hybrid methodologies, from requirements gathering to implementation.
• Familiarity with project management and requirements management tools (e.g., Jira) is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are advantageous.
• Strong understanding of structured business analysis techniques and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes.
• Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin
