Based in the Ang Mo Kio North-East Region, this role offers competitive remuneration of up to $4,000 plus variable bonus. As a Business Analyst, you will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, leveraging analytics to drive strategic decision-making and business growth.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst within the ICT sector.
• Ability to gather, interpret and communicate data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• CBAP or similar certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and interpret business requirements from stakeholders across departments.
• Design and develop analytics solutions providing actionable insights.
• Create specifications and documentation for systems development and implementation.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for process optimisation.

As a Business Analyst, you will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, leveraging analytics to drive strategic decision-making and business growth. This position is integral to our operations, enabling us to harness data insights for continuous improvement and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and interpret business requirements from stakeholders across various departments
• Design and develop analytics solutions that provide actionable insights to support business objectives
• Create detailed specifications and documentation for systems development and implementation
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for process optimisation
• Collaborate with IT teams and software developers to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Develop dashboards, reports and visualisations to communicate findings to senior management and stakeholders
• Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and quality assurance on new systems and enhancements
• Monitor system performance and provide recommendations for improvements and enhancements
• Maintain documentation of business processes, systems and analytical methodologies
• Support change management initiatives and provide training to end-users on new systems and processes

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role within the Information and Communication Technology sector
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Python or similar platforms
• Excellent understanding of business intelligence concepts and analytics frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to gather, interpret and communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping and system documentation
• Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel for data manipulation and analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
• Project management experience or familiarity with Agile methodologies is highly desirable
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar qualifications are advantageous
