Job summary

ASIA AIRFREIGHT TERMINAL CO LTD. AAT is seeking an Environmental & Sustainability Coordinator to assist in planning and supervising green projects, waste reduction initiatives, and technical aspects of facility improvements in Hong Kong.

You will liaise with internal teams and Contractors to ensure smooth project execution. The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering, 1–2 years related experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
• 1-2 years relevant experience; construction background is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD; knowledge of MS Project helpful.
• Familiar with building regs, statutory requirements and codes of practice.
• Knowledge of carbon auditing and sustainability reporting is a plus.
• Good team player with strong communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination and supervision of green projects and sustainability activities.
• Coordinate with internal/external parties and Contractors to reduce waste and promote recycling.
• Assist in planning and supervision of facility improvement projects’ technical aspects.
• Prepare technical specifications and tender drawings for A&A works or office renovations.
• Coordinate with internal parties and Contractors to resolve operational issues in engineering approaches.
• Supervise daily operations of facility management and cleaning service providers.

Job description

Assist in planning, coordination & supervision of green projects and activities related to environmental and sustainability

Liaise with internal/external parties and Contractors to facilitate waste reduction, reuse and recycling

Assist in planning, coordination & supervision of technical aspects of facility improvement projects

Liaise with internal parties and contractors to resolve operational problems in engineering approach and prepare technical specification/ tender drawings for A&A works/ office renovation. Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Liaise with internal parties and Contractors to facilitate work completion/ goods receiving and payment assessment

Supervise daily operations of services provider of facility management & building maintenance and cleaning services

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical/ Building Services Engineering or related discipline of engineering, energy management
• 1-2 years relevant working experience is required. Experience in construction industry will also be advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and knowledge in Microsoft Project
• Knowledge in building regulations, statutory requirements and code of practices in building services installation
• Knowledge in carbon audit and sustainability reporting will be advantage
• Good team player, outgoing, willing to learn, mature and independent
• Strong communication and writing skills
