Job summary

Hong Kong Housing Society invites applications for a Senior Maintenance role responsible for resolving technical issues and urgent repairs across estates. Qualifications

• Degree / Higher Diploma in Building / Construction or equivalent.
• 5 years’ experience in construction or building maintenance.
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant regulations and professional maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Solve technical problems and handle urgent repairs for estates.
• Prepare design, budgets, estimates, drawings, specifications and tender documents for maintenance and improvement works.
• Administer tendering and contract processes including inviting quotations, evaluating quotations, preparing tender documents and issuing works orders.
• Provide technical advice on materials, tools, etc. to PM staff and co-ordinate repair works on site with technicians or contractors.
• Supervise and monitor work progress on site and certify work completion.
• Conduct regular surveys and reports of estates and properties including roads, grounds and underground services.
• Inspect tenants’ fixtures and installations and recommend repairs and improvements.
• Comment on design drawings, specifications, and conduct inspections during handover of new projects, liaising with Projects Division.
