Job summary

Centre for Immunology & Infection (C2i) invites applications for a Research Assistant I to contribute to multi-omics data analysis in immunology and translational research, on a one-year or two-year fixed-term basis with potential renewal.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's in Biological Sciences or related field, with strong programming in R or Python, exposure to bioinformatics tools, and the ability to work both independently and in cross-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Sciences, Computational Biology, or related field.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, or similar tools for data analysis.
• Experience with biological data analysis (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, or clinical datasets).
• Knowledge of data cleaning, quality control, and interpretation of results.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret biological and clinical datasets using statistical and computational methods.
• Develop and maintain analysis pipelines for high-throughput data.
• Collaborate with scientists and clinicians to support experimental design and data interpretation.
• Assist in preparing reports, publications, and presentations.
