Job summary

The Centre for Immunology & Infection (C2i) invites applications for a Research Assistant I on a one-year contract with potential renewal. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team conducting R&D in cell biology, virology, and related biotech areas.

Responsibilities include performing experiments, data analysis, record keeping, and supporting lab operations. Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant life sciences, with strengths in cell/molecular

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Cell or Molecular Biology, Genomics, Biological and Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related disciplines.
Solid foundation in virology, cell and molecular biology, genomics, and immunology.
Hands-on research experience in cell-based techniques and assays, molecular cloning, virology-related techniques.
Knowledge and experience with bioinformatics analysis of omics data; mosquito-related work experience advantageous.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research team.

Responsibilities

Carry out laboratory experiments and analyze experimental data.
Maintain accurate experimental records and support ongoing research projects under supervision.
Assist with procurement, inventory management, and general laboratory organization.
