Job summary

The Centre for Immunology & Infection (C2i) invites applications for Research Assistant I to join a multidisciplinary team at HKUMed and the Institut Pasteur collaboration. The appointee will contribute to S&E projects in cell biology, virology, and related biotechnological areas.

The successful candidate will perform laboratory experiments, analyse data, maintain records and support procurement and inventory tasks, with opportunities to develop analytical and technical skills in a collaborative

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cell or Molecular Biology, Genomics, Biological and Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related disciplines.
• Hands-on experience in cell-based techniques and assays, molecular cloning, virology-related techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory experiments and data analysis.
• Analyse and interpret experimental data.
• Maintain accurate experimental records.
• Support ongoing research projects under guidance of senior team members.
• Assist with procurement, inventory management and basic laboratory organization.
