Job summary

Centre for Immunology & Infection - C2i is seeking a Research Assistant I/II to join a multidisciplinary team in Hong Kong. The role involves assisting with routine fieldwork sampling, genomic sequencing, surveillance activities, and basic sample processing.

You will coordinate equipment, manage data recording, and help with database maintenance. Applicants should hold a bachelor degree or higher and have strong IT skills, plus good written and spoken English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in a related discipline.
• Good computer knowledge and IT skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin).

Responsibilities

• Assist in routine fieldwork sampling and genomic sequencing.
• Support surveillance work and basic sample processing.
• Coordinate fieldwork equipment maintenance and lab tasks.
• Record data, enter and file information, and maintain databases.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team and learn new techniques as needed.
