Job summary

Leighton Asia is seeking a detail-oriented BIM Operator to support project teams in developing, coordinating, and maintaining Building Information Models throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Drafting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM modeling or CAD drafting within construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is essential.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Navisworks, Civil 3D, BIM 360, or ACC is advantageous.
• Understanding of BIM standards, workflows, and construction documentation.
• Knowledge of architectural, structural, or MEP systems is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain accurate 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit and other BIM software
• Produce construction drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation from BIM models
• Ensure models comply with project standards, company BIM protocols, and client requirements
• Assist in the generation of schedules, quantities, and reports from BIM models
• Support interdisciplinary model coordination among architectural, structural, MEP, and infrastructure disciplines
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and assist in resolving design and construction clashes
• Conduct clash detection using Navisworks or similar software and track resolution progress
• Update models based on design revisions and site requirements
• Collaborate with engineers, BIM Managers, BIM Engineers, and project teams to ensure model accuracy
• Support site teams by providing BIM-related technical assistance and model information

The successful candidate will prepare 3D models, drawings, and documentation while ensuring compliance with project standards, BIM execution plans, and coordination requirements. The role requires close collaboration with engineers, architects, consultants, and construction teams to support project delivery.

Key responsibilities

Develop, update, and maintain accurate 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit and other BIM software
