Job summary

Business Development in Hong Kong is seeking a results-driven Manager, Business Development to drive new revenue by selling China-focused digital advertising solutions, with emphasis on Xiaohongshu and Douyin, to brands and agencies in Hong Kong.

This frontline sales role covers the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, requiring strategic planning and strong client relations. Fluency in English and Cantonese is essential, with Mandarin a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in advertising sales, media sales, or new business development.
• Direct experience selling digital advertising solutions, preferably within an agency, ad-tech platform, media publisher, or digital sales house.
• Solid understanding of the China digital advertising landscape; experience with Xiaohongshu (XHS) and/or Douyin is a major advantage.
• Strong existing network of brands and agencies in the Hong Kong market preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, pitch, and close new business to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets for gross profit and new client acquisition.
• Hunt for and identify new business opportunities, target markets, and client segments to build a robust sales pipeline.
• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve company revenue objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at brands and advertising agencies.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches, proposals, and media plans tailored to client objectives.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and the China digital ecosystem to position our solutions effectively.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth campaign onboarding and contribute to product development based on market feedback.
