JEN by Shangri-La in Hong Kong seeks an Assistant Manager for Lobster Bar & Grill to ensure timely, courteous, and professional service. You will oversee daily operations, collaborate with the Chef on menus, budgets, and staff development, and drive service excellence aligned with hotel standards.

The ideal candidate holds a hospitality management diploma, with 4+ years in top restaurant settings, including 3+ years in Bar & Grill, and strong English and Chinese language skills.

Formación

• Diploma or above in Hospitality Management.
• At least 4 years of experience in restaurants at prestigious hotels or organizations, with minimum 3 years in Bar & Grill.
• Sound knowledge of food and beverages and strong sense of market trends.
• Demonstrated integrity, trustworthiness, reliability, responsibility and accountability.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily operations of the Restaurant and collaborate with the Chef on promotion, menus, budgets, and staff training.
• Lead and motivate the Team to deliver exceptional service aligned with Hotel standards and exceed guest expectations.
• Drive continuous improvement by introducing innovative ideas and recommending service enhancements.
• Review guest feedback, critique forms, logbooks on operational issues and P&L statements.
• Ensure all materials, equipment and machinery are properly used and regularly cleaned for prolong usage.
• Ensure general maintenance of sections appointed and follow-up on work order forms with the Engineering Team.
• Ensure all staff are aware of and apply the procedures concerning Hotel fire and life safety / emergency procedures.

Educación

Diploma or above in Hospitality Management

4+ years in restaurants at prestigious hotels or organizations, with minimum 3 years in Bar and Grill

Food & Beverage knowledge
