Job summary

Peoplebank Hong Kong Limited is seeking an Assistant IT Manager I for the Banking Industry. The role focuses on end-to-end user provisioning, account lifecycle setup, profile configurations, and system permissions alignment within a banking environment.

The position involves delivering timely IT troubleshooting for local office staff across hardware, software, connectivity, and peripherals, and coordinating project deliverables with external service providers and the regional IT team.

Qualifications

Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
IT Support experience in the Financial Services industry.
Experience with Excel VBA or Python scripting.
Experience with configuring and maintaining trading platform setups is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end user provisioning, account lifecycle setup, profile configurations, and system permissions alignment.
Deliver timely technical troubleshooting for local office staff regarding hardware, software, connectivity, and peripherals.
Act as the primary operational point of contact to coordinate project deliverables and technical resolutions with external IT service providers and the regional in-house IT team.
Develop, maintain, and optimize simple automation scripts using VBA and Python to streamline daily workflows.
Assist with the installation, account configuration, routine troubleshooting, and maintenance of the trading terminals for the business team.
