Awards and Jury Operations – Manager/Assistant Manager
Haymarket is seeking a manager, based in Hong Kong. This role will be pivotal in managing the seamless execution of our renowned and flagship B2B awards events including those under industry-leading brands such as Campaign Asia Pacific across the Haymarket Media Group.
This is an opportunity to gain exposure to top advertising clients and their businesses as well as establish and maintain long-lasting relationships with key players.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Jury Management: includes manage jury data list, follow up on invitations and materials, filing and upload to website.
- Jury Platform: set up, maintain, and troubleshoot the judging platform; provide responsive support to judges throughout the process.
- Scheduling & Coordination: oversee scheduling and coordination of all judging calls, ensuring smooth communication and timely confirmations.
- Data Management: organise the jury data update and filing system. Compile judges’ feedback and survey results and prepare analysis reports.
- Content Management: upload and manage all jury‑related content, judging results, and updates across awards websites.
- Conduct market research and compile industry event data, prepare analysis reports, and maintain updated databases.
- Manage enquiries and conduct follow-up calls to targeted organisations to introduce the awards programme and drive engagement and ensure smooth submission processes.
- Support results validation processes and work closely with the external auditor to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with internal teams on project timelines, administrative tasks, and ad hoc assignments.
- Oversee call for entries and entire judging processes. Liaise with all stakeholders to drive entry and table sales.
Requirements
- For executive role, aminimum of 5 years work experience required and if less experience, can apply for Assistant Manager with a minimum of 4 years of experience. Preferably in the advertising industry or in awards, conference, or training project management, though this is not essential.
- University degree holder in business management, advertising, marketing, hospitality management or related field is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) is preferable. Other language skills provide a significant advantage.
- Multi-tasking skills: strong time management, organization, administration, and project management.
- Well-developed both written and verbal communication skills.
- Resilient, responsible, attentive, organized, and a great team player who understands how to work effectively across different internal stakeholders.
- Able to perform under stress while meeting deadlines.
- MS Office proficiency and knowledge of WordPress and other technology platforms such as TEAMS or Cvent will be an advantage but not necessary.
