Job summary

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) is seeking an Associate Vice President to join the AlgoTrade team under Global Client Development in the Markets Division. The role is based in Hong Kong and involves driving client development with prop trading firms, market makers, hedge funds and quant funds.

You will lead sales plans across North Asia and focus on cash equity coverage, with opportunities in fixed income, FX and commodities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of front-office experience with Asian/global clients.
• Strong focus on equities; additional fixed income/fx experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and drive initiatives.
• Experience in cross-regional collaboration and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Drive client development with Proprietary Trading Firms, Market Makers, Hedge Funds and Quant funds.
• Create and drive targeted sales plans and revenue initiatives across North Asia.
• Maintain focus on Cash equity coverage, including Single Stock and Equity Index Derivatives.
• Support Market Data and Hosting services ecosystem initiatives.
• Understand market structure and client challenges to identify solutions with internal HKEX stakeholders.
• Act as subject matter expert for assigned projects with external client engagement.
