Job summary

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited is seeking a senior Derivative Trading Operations professional to manage futures and options trading across multiple assets and to develop the rules and policies for derivatives market trading.

The candidate will operate and monitor the derivatives trading system, ensuring a transparent, fair and orderly environment and providing leadership on major initiatives. Shift duties are required; located in Hong Kong SAR.

Qualifications

• University degree in finance, economics or related disciplines.
• Good understanding of derivatives products, market practices and platforms.
• Experience in derivatives market operations and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth derivatives market trading operations, including shift coverage (2pm-11pm).
• Ensure compliance with regulations, rules and procedures.
• Deliver excellent service to Exchange Participants and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Communicate clearly with Exchange Participants and act as command centre during operations.
• Plan and execute projects, system enhancements and policy reviews.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation plans; develop contingency procedures.
• Stay updated on international trends in derivatives market development.
