Job summary

Airport Authority Hong Kong (AA) is seeking a data-focused analyst to cleanse flight data, identify errors, and ensure data integrity across internal and external stakeholders. You will support traffic forecasting with market research and data transformation, contributing to a data-driven aviation ecosystem.

The role requires strong numerical skills, proficiency in MS Office and Power BI, and fluency in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business, Research, Information Technology, Aviation or any other disciplines.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in research, business, or quantitative analysis is preferred.
• Experience in the aviation industry is a plus.
• Strong numerical sense with analytical skills, passionate about numerics and data.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot and Power BI).
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English & Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua).

Responsibilities

• Cleanse raw flight data and rectify errors in compliance with HKCAD guidelines.
• Identify errors in air traffic data submitted by business partners using various rule sets and logics.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address the identified errors.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy are maintained at the highest standards.
• Monitor data trends and changes for anomalies.
• Generate regular traffic reports for both internal and external stakeholders, as well as government entities.
• Conduct market research and provide analytical support for traffic forecasting efforts.
• Support traffic and market data generation, compilation and transformation for research and analysis.
• Support department’s technology transformation.
• Provide coordination and logistical support for industry and academic exchange activities, including conferences and knowledge sharing initiatives
