Job summary

HKEX seeks a skilled automation professional to identify business process inefficiencies and design robust automation solutions using Python, scripting, and low-code platforms. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project scopes and timelines, and documenting processes with comprehensive SOPs.

The ideal candidate has a degree in CS/IT and at least 3 years of relevant experience in infrastructure or scripting, with strong coding skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or IT-related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years in infrastructure and system programming or scripting; fresh grads with strong programming also considered.
• Solid hands-on coding and software development experience.
• Proven experience in systems integration coding using Python, Perl, Unix Shell Scripts, Windows PowerShell, Excel Macro, PowerApps, etc.
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, ServiceNow, CyberArk, SharePoint.
• Interest and knowledge in Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Attention to detail with multi-tasking and planning/execution capabilities.
• Strong sense of technology risk and security.
• Proactive, independent worker with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify Opportunities: analyze processes to find inefficiencies suitable for automation.
• Provide Solutions: design, develop, and deploy automation solutions using RPA, scripting, AI, or low-code tools.
• Eliminate Manual Work: streamline daily ops by replacing manual data entry with digital workflows.
• Initiate Projects: propose automation initiatives with cross-functional teams and define scope and timelines.
• Create Proposals: draft business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and funding proposals.
• Documentation: produce technical docs, process maps, user guides, and SOPs.
