Job summary

C&T Associates CPA Limited is seeking an experienced Auditor to join our growing team in Hong Kong. Based in the Central and Western District, you will conduct external audits for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring financial statements are accurate and compliant with accounting standards.

You will lead audit engagements, prepare reports, and mentor junior staff while staying current with auditing standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (CPA or equivalent) with 2+ years of post-qualification external audit experience.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for client collaboration.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Proficiency in audit software and data analytics tools.

Responsibilities

This is a full-time position based in the Central and Western District.

• Identifying and evaluating financial and operational risks, and recommending appropriate controls and solutions
• Preparing detailed audit reports, highlighting key findings and recommendations
• Liaising with clients to gather information, address queries, and discuss audit results
• Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, regulations and best practices
• Providing technical guidance and training to junior members of the audit team

What we’re looking for

• Qualified accountant (CPA or equivalent) with 2+ years of post-qualification experience in external auditing
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and audit methodologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with clients and team members
