Job summary

Sidus CPA Limited in Wan Chai, Hong Kong, is seeking an Audit Senior to Associate for a full-time role. You will join the Audit - External team delivering high-quality external audit services to a diverse client base from our Wan Chai office.

You’ll assist managers in leading fieldwork, collaborate with clients, coach juniors, and apply audit analytics to strengthen risk assessment and substantive testing. HKICPA membership is desirable, 2–5 years’ experience, and accounting degree preferred.

Qualifications

• HKICPA membership desirable; Members of other CPA bodies also preferred
• 2-5 years of auditing experience in CPA firms
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and audit regulations
• Demonstrates maturity, initiative, and ability to work effectively in a team
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Lead audit fieldwork and assurance assignments with managers/senior managers
• Collaborate with clients and team members to deliver quality assurance services
• Coach junior team members
• Understand regulation and risk management on business processes and controls

Join our dynamic team at Sidus CPA Limited as an Audit Senior to Associate. In this full-time position based in Wan Chai, you will be a key member of our Audit - External team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality external audit services to our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

Assisting managers / senior managers in leading a team of professionals in carrying out audit fieldwork and assurance assignments

Working closely with clients and team members in order to provide quality assurance services

Providing coaching to junior team members

Provides high-quality services by effectively understanding the influence of regulation and risk management on business processes and controls

Develops an intermediate understanding and skill level in audit analytics and visualizations, applying these to assess risks and enhance the quality of risk assessment and substantive testing

What we're looking for

Members of HKICPA is desirable; Members of other CPA bodies are also preferred

2-5 years of auditing experience in CPA firms

Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline, preferably in Accounting or a related field

Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and audit regulations

Demonstrates maturity, strong initiative, and the ability to work effectively in a team

Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills
