Job summary

Aurex Group is seeking an Associate for its APAC strategic analytics and research function in Hong Kong. You will maintain market datasets, produce recurring analytics, and support investment views and investor materials across Asia Pacific.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders to enhance data quality and deliver dashboards, forecasts and thematic research, with exposure to Power BI, Python and SQL tools. A 2–4 year background in real estate or analytics is preferred.

A leading global real estate investment platform is seeking an analytically minded Associate to join its APAC strategic analytics and research function in Hong Kong.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to gain broad exposure to regional real estate markets, investment strategy, market intelligence and research operations. The successful candidate will play a central role in maintaining high-quality market data, producing recurring analytics and supporting the development of investment views, forecasts and investor materials across Asia Pacific.

The role

Working closely with senior research and investment stakeholders, you will help improve the quality, consistency and accessibility of market intelligence across a sophisticated regional platform.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining, reconciling and quality-checking proprietary and third-party real estate market datasets.
• Producing recurring market analytics, charts, dashboards and presentation materials for research and investment teams.
• Managing data libraries, reporting templates, trackers and research processes to support scalable delivery across APAC.
• Supporting the preparation of regional market views, investment-strategy discussions and selected investor-facing materials.
• Assisting with market forecasts, scenario analysis and thematic research across key APAC real estate markets.
• Providing day-to-day support for market coverage, research execution and ad hoc strategic projects.
• Identifying practical opportunities to use AI, automation and analytics tools to improve data workflows, research efficiency and knowledge sharing.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate will bring 2-4 years of relevant experience gained in real estate, investment management, research, consulting, analytics or another data-intensive analytical environment.

You will likely possess:

• A bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, economics, business, data analytics or a related discipline.
• Strong Excel, data-management and data-quality skills, with confidence handling large and complex datasets.
• Excellent attention to detail, alongside a structured and disciplined approach to documentation, reporting and recurring processes.
• The ability to turn data into clear, well-structured analysis, presentations and research materials for a range of internal and external audiences.
• Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with the capacity to manage recurring deliverables while responding to ad hoc requests.
• A proactive mindset and genuine interest in improving workflows through technology, automation and AI-enabled tools.

Experience with real estate market intelligence, investment research, forecasting, dashboards or performance reporting would be advantageous. Familiarity with Power BI, Python, SQL or other data-visualisation and analytics tools will be viewed favourably, as will exposure to AI-enabled research or workflow-automation tools.
