Global Sports Jobs Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Windsurfing Coach to support the Windsurfing Coach and Head Windsurfing Coach. You will coordinate, design and implement training programmes for elite athletes in Hong Kong, integrating scientific and medical support to optimise performance.

The role also involves assisting with administration and logistics for squad training and competitions, plus ensuring effective communication with athletes, staff and governing bodies.

Qualifications

• University degree or post-secondary certificate/diploma.
• Valid coaching certificate from the governing body.
• A minimum of 2 years professional Windsurfing coaching experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of computer literacy.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate, design and implement training programmes for elite athletes in Hong Kong.
• Fully utilise and integrate scientific, medical and other athlete support services into the elite training programme to enhance elite youth training outcomes.
• Assist with the administration and coordination of logistics, accounting, coaching and team resources related to local and overseas squad training and competitions.

About the Role

The Assistant Windsurfing Coach reports to the Windsurfing Coach under the oversight of the Head Windsurfing Coach. The role involves coordinating, designing and implementing training programmes for elite athletes in Hong Kong, integrating scientific and medical support, and assisting with administration and logistics for squad training and competitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate, design and implement training programmes for elite athletes in Hong Kong
• Fully utilise and integrate scientific, medical and other athlete support services into the elite training programme to enhance elite youth training outcomes
• Assist with the administration and coordination of logistics, accounting, coaching and team resources related to local and overseas squad training and competitions

Required Experience & Qualifications

• University degree or post-secondary Certificate/ Diploma, or its equivalent
• Holder of a valid coaching certificate issued by the relevant governing body
• A minimum of 2 years professional coaching experience in Windsurfing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of computer literacy
