Job summary

Feather and Bone Holdings Limited is seeking an Assistant Venue Manager for Discovery Bay to oversee both restaurant and retail operations. You will lead FOH dining and retail staff, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while managing inventory, merchandising, and supplier relationships.

You will coordinate floor schedules, mentor staff, and maintain high standards across both divisions, contributing to a cohesive, premium service culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory or assistant management experience in hospitality and/or premium retail/delicatessen environments.
• Proactive with new ideas, good leadership and execution skills.
• Strong passion for Western food products, fine wines, craft beverages, artisan cheeses, and fresh meats/butchery.
• Proven track record in managing and motivating multi-disciplinary teams.
• Sound understanding of inventory management, stock rotation, margin management, and POS/retail management systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; fluent in English or Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily FOH dining operations to ensure high standards of customer service, food quality, and hygiene.
• Manage floor service during peak dining hours, resolving feedback and ensuring a welcoming guest experience.
• Assist with floor staffing schedules, briefing teams, and maintaining seamless communication between FOH and kitchen staff.
• Oversee daily shop operations across retail sections including wine & beverages, gourmet snacks, butcher counter, and chilled products.
• Ensure merchandising, stocking, labeling, and optimal product displays; manage inventory levels, shelf life, and waste.
