JF Talent Consulting Group Limited on behalf of a US-based client in Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Technical Service Manager (MVAC) to provide end-to-end technical support for MVAC and ventilation products, serving as the interface between Sales, Clients and Suppliers from pre-tender to after-sales.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5-10 years of MVAC/ventilation experience in contractor, distributor or OEM environments.
• Hands-on site troubleshooting experience is mandatory.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with obtaining product compliance certificates (local and international standards).

Responsibilities

• Resolve contractor queries across mechanical MVAC products and ventilation fans.
• Provide pre-tender technical support (product selection, specification compliance, value engineering).
• Support the sales team with outreach to consultants and end-users.
• Conduct site visits to diagnose installation or performance issues of products.
• Execute retrofit solutions and site investigations.
• Conduct technical audits for retrofit opportunities and product upgrades.
• Provide on-site support during installation, testing and commissioning.
• Manage product certifications, liaising with testing labs and ensuring compliance with local standards.
• Act as a technical liaison with OEMs to resolve technical or quality issues.
• Support procurement with qualification of new OEMs and review of existing OEMs.
• Support quality inspections before shipment.

About The Role

Provide end-to-end technical support across MVAC distribution businesses. As first contact point in between Sales, Client and Supplier from pre-tender, installation, trouble shoot and after sales services.

Requirements:

5-10 years' experience in MVAC / ventilation from a contractor, distributor, or OEM environment

Hands-on experience in site troubleshooting (mandatory), retrofit or upgrading projects (preferred)

Ability to diagnose issues and propose solutions at the site and in the OEM production environment

Able to read and understand technical drawings and specifications

Experience with obtaining product compliance certificates (local and international standards)

Good command of Cantonese, English and Mandarin
