Job summary

Daifuku Mechatronics (S) Pte Ltd is seeking an IT Support professional to provide 24/7 remote and on-site service for system breakdowns and maintenance. You will respond to customer inquiries by phone and email and perform first- and second-level troubleshooting for software, applications, networks, and IT hardware.

The role supports user training, system implementation, demonstrations, and post-implementation support, and involves preparing technical documentation and guides.

• Diploma in Information Technology or related discipline.

• Assist in on-site software commissioning and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.

Duties and responsibilities :

• Provide 24/7 remote and on-site support for system breakdowns and maintenance services (on a rotational basis).

• Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email.

• Perform first- and second-level troubleshooting for software, application, network, and IT hardware issues.

• Support customer training, system implementation, demonstrations, and post-implementation support.

• Prepare and maintain user manuals, technical documentation, and troubleshooting guides.

• Configure and set up PCs, servers, and related IT peripherals.

• Develop assigned software modules and perform unit/internal testing.

• Assist in on-site software commissioning and deployment activities.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.

Job Requirement :

• Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.

• Basic knowledge of Java, VB.NET, C#, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

• Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL (Oracle knowledge is an advantage).

• Basic understanding of PC, server, and IT hardware installation and configuration.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willing to travel occasionally for overseas customers’ system breakdown and system maintenance.

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

• Fresh graduates with a positive learning attitude are welcome to apply.
