Job summary

Hip Hing Construction Co Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to support site operations on our Hong Kong projects. The role involves maintaining QS records, preparing measurements, and assisting in interim payments.

Applicants should have a Degree or Higher Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Building Construction, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and good written and spoken English and Chinese. An attractive salary and fringe benefits are offered.

At least 1 year relevant working experience.
Proficient in English and Chinese (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

Maintain and update QS records, site documents, filing and drawings required for QS duties.
Carry out measurements for ordering, subletting, variation estimates and final accounts.
Evaluate Sub-Contractor interim payments.
Notify and contra charge Sub-Contractor payments.
Check and verify Sub-Contractors daywork.
Prepare and keep up to date records and photos of variation works and abortive works.
Assist in the preparation of interim payment applications.
