Tastings Group Limited in Hong Kong seeks an Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations and deliver a premium dining experience. You will supervise staff, advise guests on wines, manage the wine cellar, and monitor budgets for profitability.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in luxury restaurant management, a Hospitality degree or diploma, WSET level 2/3 is a plus, and bilingual abilities in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. Immediate availability is preferred.

• 2–3 years in restaurant management at a luxury Western restaurant.
• Hospitality management degree or diploma; WSET level 2 or 3 is an advantage.
• Able to advise guests on wines according to preferences and food choices.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced AssistantRestaurant Manager to assist management to lead all aspects of our business to deliver a high-quality and unique dining experience and advance your career in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist to oversee daily operations of the restaurant
• Ensure the highest standards of food and beverage service
• Manage staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
• Advising guests on wines based on their personal tastes and food choices
• Manages the wine cellar, and conducts wine tastings
• Maintain inventory and ensure proper stock levels
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues
• Provide periodical analysis and status reports for management review.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and customer satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Monitor financial performance and manage budgets

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3years’ restaurant management experience in a luxury western restaurant, less experience will be considered as Supervisor
• Degree or Diploma holder of Hospitality management and WSET level 2 or 3 certificate is an advantage
• Able to advise guests on wines based on their personal tastes and food choices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• An in-depth understanding of management and experience utilizing them in the workplace
• Knowledge of basic accounting and cost control procedures
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills, able to communicate effectively to successfully defuse tense situations
• Strong interpersonal and intrapersonal skills
• Fluent in spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese
• Immediate availability is highly perferred
• Hong Kong resident only
