Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, Event Management, or related disciplines
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in communications, branding, event management, CSR/community engagement, or related fields
  • Strong project management and event coordination skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Hands-on experience in organizing events, volunteer programmes, or stakeholder engagement activities
  • Strong design mindset with proficiency in presentation design and visual communication
  • Familiarity with AI tools for content creation, design visualization, and productivity enhancement
  • Excellent problem-solving skills as well as interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and digital collaboration tools
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute community engagement programmes, volunteer activities, and corporate events from preparation through post-event evaluation
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, NGOs, community partners, vendors, and volunteers to ensure smooth programme delivery
  • Manage volunteer communications, registration, attendance tracking and onsite support
  • Support the development and implementation of branding and communication initiatives to enhance the Group's reputation and community presence
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance content creation, design visualization, workflow efficiency, and communication effectiveness
  • Create and maintain templates of branding materials, event collaterals, and visual assets with a strong design mindset
  • Ensure brand consistency and quality across all communication materials and engagement activities
  • Support trademark administration, including handling, organizing, maintaining, and digitizing trademark documentation with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while providing administrative and operational support across multiple workstreams
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance employee and volunteer experiences, and maximize the impact of community engagement initiatives

Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and digitally savvy Assistant Group Communications Manager to support the Group's branding, community engagement, volunteer management, and trademark administration initiatives. This role is ideal for a creative and proactive communications professional who combines strong project coordination skills with a passion for community impact, branding, and emerging AI technologies.

Reporting to the Group Communications team, you will play a key role in supporting community engagement programmes and brand management activities, coordinating volunteer initiatives, and enhancing operational efficiency through the effective use of AI tools.

Your Role

Plan and execute community engagement programmes, volunteer activities, and corporate events from preparation through post-event evaluation

To Succeed in This Role

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, Event Management, or related disciplines

3-5 years of relevant experience in communications, branding, event management, CSR/community engagement, employee engagement, or related fields

Strong project management and event coordination skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities

Hands-on experience in organizing events, volunteer programmes, or stakeholder engagement activities

Strong design mindset with proficiency in presentation design and visual communication

Familiarity with AI tools for content creation, design visualization, and productivity enhancement

Excellent problem-solving skills as well as interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
