Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines.
• HKICPA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• 3–5 years of experience, preferably from Big 4, local audit firms or listed companies.
• Experience in group consolidation and statutory reporting is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage interim and annual financial reporting, including consolidated statements.
• Oversee sub-consolidation, intercompany reconciliations and consolidation adjustments.
• Prepare financial statements in HKFRS and HKEX reporting rules.
• Coordinate with business units to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information.
• Assist in annual/interim results announcements, annual reports, and audits.
• Liaise with external auditors and address technical accounting issues.
• Review and enhance internal controls and reporting processes.
• Perform ad hoc financial projects.

Job description

Assistant Finance Manager, a member of the finance team to provide support to the diversified investments of the Group. The right candidate will report to the Group Financial Controller and will gain solid hands-on experience in financial management of various projects.

Your key responsibilities

Manage the Group's interim and annual financial reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements and management reports.

Manage the sub-consolidation and Group consolidation process, including review of reporting packages submitted by subsidiaries, JVs, associates and PRC entities, intercompany reconciliations, elimination entries and consolidation adjustments.

Prepare financial statements and disclosures in compliance with HKFRS, the Hong Kong Companies Ordinance and HKEX Listing Rules.

Coordinate with business units and finance team to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial information across the Group.

Assist in the preparation of annual and interim results announcements, annual reports, and other statutory reporting requirements.

Serve as one of the key contacts for external auditors in relation to financial reporting matters, audit planning, audit requests and resolution of technical accounting issues.

Review and enhance financial reporting processes, internal controls, and reporting systems to improve efficiency and reporting quality.

Perform financial ad hoc projects as assigned.

Your profile

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other related disciplines.

Holder of professional qualification (HKICPA, ACCA or equivalent).

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience preferably gained from Big 4 audit firms, local audit firms and/or listed companies.

Preferred hands-on experience in group consolidation preparation of consolidated financial statements and statutory reporting.

Experience in liaising with external auditors and handling annual/interim audit processes.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple reporting deadlines.

Proficient in MS Office applications.

A self-starter, adaptable learner and team player with good communication skills.

Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese.
