Job summary

Gaiamesh Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Deployment Manager or Deployment Executive to lead device installations and commissioning for customer projects. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, document processes, and support deployments at client sites.

The role requires hands-on installation experience, strong documentation, and the ability to operate independently at customer sites with Cantonese, English and Mandarin language skills.

Qualifications

• Background in BMS, HVAC or electrical work.
• Comfort working at customer sites with varying conditions.
• Experience with basic networking and device configuration.
• 2+ years in IoT device deployment.
• Fresh graduates may be considered for Deployment Executive.

About The Role

To meet our rapidly growing clientele in the Greater Bay Area (GBA), we are seeking a driven team player with matching experience and qualifications to join our Hong Kong office as an Assistant Deployment Manager or Deployment Executive. Reporting to the Senior Deployment Manager, you will execute device installations and commissioning for customer projects, ensuring proper project management, system setup, documentation, and support deployments that require multi‑disciplinary coordination across functional teams.

What You Will Do

Project Management

• Support complex project deployments requiring multi-disciplinary coordination and effective communication with stakeholders.
• Attend client meetings on requirements and maintain responsive and effective communication to ensure successful project implementation.
• Follow up on payment and administrative closure of projects.
• Respond to project maintenance requests as needed.
• Manage project contract vendors to ensure quality delivery.

System Provisioning and Design

• Site verifications and proposal development support.
• Provisioning devices and input system configurations.
• Method statement and site readiness assessment.

Installation, Testing & Commissioning

• Perform on-site assessments and supervise/execute installation of IoT monitors, thermostats, integrators, and edge gateways.
• Ensure zero rework required due to installation errors.
• Support IoT device flashing, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Validate device readings and control functionality.
• Report and document any device or system issues.
• Commission deployed systems and validate proper operation.

Documentation & Training

• Generate installation, testing, and commissioning documentation.
• Perform training for installation guides and software.
• Document project reviews and lessons learned.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of SOPs.

Required Skills

• Technical aptitude for IoT and building systems.
• Hands‑on skills with device installation and wiring.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently at customer sites.
• Problem-solving skills for field troubleshooting.
• Fluent in Cantonese, proficient in English and Mandarin.
