Job summary

Commtech (Asia) Limited seeks a Senior Project Manager responsible for overseeing testing and commissioning projects in data centers across Hong Kong. You will prepare proposals, manage budgets, coordinate with clients and internal teams, and ensure governance and compliance.

You will lead planning, strategy, and delivery, provide technical guidance, and mentor delivery staff to achieve high-quality outcomes while driving business growth.

Qualifications

• Degree or above in Project Management / Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project proposals including financial, logistics and technical aspects.
• Attend client meetings and resolve project issues for best outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with government and consultancy requirements.
• Plan and implement operational strategy for growth, quality, safety, and finance.
• Provide technical guidance in testing and commissioning and coach staff.

Job description

Overall responsible for the preparation of project proposals including financial, logistics and technical aspects in construction and data center

Be involved with client meetings and whenever issues develop on a project to ensure a correct approach and deliver the best outcome for the business.

Be familiar with, all Government related department (i.e. Construction Bureaux, Quality Bureaux) requirements for Consultancy / Project Management, ensuring services are delivered in complete compliance and governance

Planning, development and implementation strategy for operational management and business growth so as to meet agreed plans and budgets for all relevant areas of the business, including; quality management, health & safety, legal stipulation, administration, financial and people management.

Provide technical advice in testing and commissioning aspects, assistance and coaching to delivery team members

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

Knowledge

Degree or above in Project Management / Building Services Engineering or equivalent

Good command of both spoken / written English, Cantonese and Mandarin

Good knowledge in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Project

Experience

With 12 years' relevant experience in testing and commissioning experience which 8 years should be at managerial level

Experience in good understanding of the testing and commissioning process; system design, installation, testing and commissioning and project management in MEP aspects

More experience will be considered as Senior Project Manager.
