Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in IT-related field.
• 8+ years in system design, development, architecture, or project management in large enterprise settings.
• Experience with enterprise application localization and offshore teams.
• Strong communication with cross-border stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of Java, MySQL, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Engage business users to capture requirements and analyze HK-specific workflows for localization of enterprise apps.
• Review system architecture, designs, and implementation plans for quality and scalability.
• Coordinate with Mainland and cross-functional teams for data flows and integrations.
• Provide day-to-day support for mission-critical applications and perform root cause analyses.
• Create and maintain key project artifacts including architecture documents and BRDs.

Summary

Our client is a local conglomerate and to assist in the localization of enterprise applications, they are looking for candidates with successful track records rolling out sizeable enterprise application projects, ability to manage offshore technical team, and an individual who demonstrates good independence.

Responsibilities

• Business Users Engagement: Capture requirements and analyse HK's business logics/ workflow to support the localization of enterprise applications
• Solution & Architect Review: Review and validate system architecture, technical designs, and implementation plans to ensure compliance, quality, and scalability
• System Integration & Maintenance: Collaborate with cross-functional technical and Mainland's development teams to manage data flows, system integrations, operational workflows, and continuous platform maintenance
• Application Support: Provide day-to-day support for mission-critical applications, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve technical incidents promptly
• Documentation & Governance: Create and maintain key project artifacts, including solution architecture documents, functional specs, and business requirement docs

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Experience: With 8+ years' in system design/development/architecture, application support, and/ or project management in sizeable enterprise environments
• Tech Stack: Familiar with SDLC and sound knowledge in Java, MySQL and major cloud platforms is preferred
• Enterprise Scale: Proven ability to manage high-availability, high-performance, and high-traffic systems.
• Cross-Border Collaboration: Experience collaborating with cross-border stakeholders and tech teams, particularly in Mainland China.
• Languages: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) and English.
