Job summary

Kowloon Development Company Limited, part of the Polytec Group, is expanding its Hong Kong team to lead major residential development projects. The Construction Manager will plan, oversee and coordinate site works, ensuring on-time delivery, safety and contract compliance.

You will manage subcontractors, liaise with government authorities and consultants, and mentor a small project team. Senior level with HK experience and AS status is preferred; leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years or above post-qualification experience in building/civil construction, with at least 2 years in management level.
• Post Membership in HKIE/MICE/MCIOB is preferred.
• Qualified Authorized Signatory (AS) is a must.
• Experience handling site condition changes and timely issue resolution.
• Solid knowledge of costing, contracts, regulations and building/construction operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan site works with sub‑contractor, monitor and oversee their works performance and ensure compliance with contract requirements
• Liaise with government authorities, consultants, and sub‑contractors to achieve quality work while meeting safety requirements as a team

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years or above post-qualification experience in building/civil construction with at least 2 years in management level, preferably gained from handling residential developments projects in Hong Kong
• Post Membership in HKIE/MICE/MCIOB is preferred
• Qualified Authorized Signatory (AS) is a must
• Skilled in handling site condition changes and offering timely solutions to tackle ad hoc issues
• Solid knowledge with costing, contract, regulations and building /construction operations
• Good presentation skills, self-motivated and a team player with strong leadership and communication skills
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Construction Manager
